Clear, removable aligners that straighten your teeth without metal brackets or wires.
Invisalign is a brand of clear aligners, an orthodontic treatment that straightens teeth using a series of removable, transparent plastic trays. Each tray is custom-made from a digital scan of the patient's teeth and moves them in small steps. Developed by Align Technology, Invisalign is used to treat a range of alignment problems, including crowding, spacing, and some bite issues.
Your journey begins with a consultation and a digital scan of your teeth. A custom treatment plan is created, followed by a series of aligners that you switch every one to two weeks. Aligners should be worn around 20 to 22 hours a day for best results. Regular check-ups let your dentist track your progress.
Remove your aligners when eating or drinking anything other than water. Brush your teeth before putting them back in, and clean the aligners daily. Keep them in their case when not in use, as they are easily lost or damaged.
